By accessing our website, downloading our mobile application, or using our delivery platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of service. 1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you" or "User") and Tarzit ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our Service. You agree that by accessing the Service, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Account Registration & Security
To use most features of our Service, you must register for a personal account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information, including your mobile number and active delivery addresses.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and restrict access to your device.
- Accept full responsibility for all activities, orders, and payments made through your account.
- Be at least 18 years of age to register or place orders on the Service.
3. Product Information & Pricing
We work with third-party local stores, sweet centers, and restaurants ("Vendor Partners") who display their product catalogs on our Service. Please note:
- Product photos and visual assets are for illustrative purposes only. The actual prepared dish or grocery items might vary slightly in final appearance.
- All prices displayed are determined by the respective Vendor Partners. While we strive to display correct pricing, typographical errors or sudden store updates may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders arising from incorrect displays.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice, based on vendor updates and market availability.
4. Orders & Payments
By placing an order through the Service, you make an offer to purchase the selected items from the respective Vendor Partner. We facilitate the order transmission and delivery process.
- Availability: All orders are subject to product availability and store operating hours. If a vendor is closed or out of stock, we will notify you and cancel that portion of the order.
- Payments: Payments can be made online via UPI, Credit/Debit cards, Net banking, in-app digital Wallet, or in cash upon arrival (Cash on Delivery).
- Wallet Settlements: Wallet balances can be topped up securely. Any promotional wallet cash gained through referrals has specific expiry dates and usage rules as outlined in the app profile.
5. Shipping & Delivery Policy
We provide hyperlocal delivery services within specified service zones in and around Tamkuhi Raj, Kushinagar (UP).
- Delivery Fees: Delivery fees are calculated dynamically based on the distance between the Vendor Partner's shop and your designated delivery location. If you order from multiple shops in a single checkout (Multi-Vendor Cart), a coordinated delivery fee is charged.
- Delivery Timeline: We make every effort to deliver your orders within 30 minutes. However, delivery times may vary due to preparation delays, heavy traffic, weather conditions, or incorrect address descriptions.
- Responsibility: It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery instructions and coordinates. If a delivery partner is unable to contact you at the time of delivery or cannot access the address due to security restrictions, the order may be cancelled, and you may be charged a cancellation fee.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund policies protect both our customers and our local merchant partners.
- Cancellations by Customer: You can cancel an order within 60 seconds of placing it without any charge. Once a Vendor Partner accepts the order and starts preparing it (or once groceries are packed), the order cannot be cancelled, and full payment is due.
- Cancellations by Tarzit/Merchant: We reserve the right to cancel orders due to product unavailability, store closures, delivery partner shortage, or extreme weather conditions. If cancelled by us, any online payment made will be refunded in full.
- Refunds: If you receive incorrect, damaged, or missing items, you must report it within 2 hours of delivery. Upon verification, refunds will be credited back to your original payment method or your in-app Wallet within 3-5 business days.
7. User Conduct
You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:
- Using the Service to place fraudulent orders or make false claims.
- Interfering with, disrupting, or attempting to compromise the security and servers of the Service.
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening our delivery partners, customer support agents, or vendor staff.
- Creating duplicate account credentials to manipulate referral programs or discount codes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tarzit, Tarzit Technologies, and their directors, employees, or partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service.
- The quality, safety, or legality of items purchased from third-party Vendor Partners.
- Any delays, failures, or service disruptions caused by forces beyond our reasonable control.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to change, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our Service after updates are posted indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
